I'm a software engineer currently working on a number of different projects at an FFRDC. Most of my work involves user interface design in some way or another. I'm a project lead for a distributive control and monitoring middleware that simplies and unifies development of user interfaces for both airborne and ground based custom hardware. I'm also a software architect for a data organization and analysis application that handles terabytes of data. I've worked on a number of smaller scale projects involving databases, web design and hardware simulation. One of more unique experiences I've had was the opportunity to be a flight test operator, which gave me a chance to see my work in action.
In my free time, I'm exploring various forms of user input via kinect and webcams. You can find some of my projects here.
